Lake MX239 Men's Gravel Cycling Shoes

Featuring trickle-down technology from the top-end MX333, the Lake MX239 Gravel Cycling Shoes offer incredible performance for those who enjoy the exhilaration of riding fast and gravel racing competition. The supple upper gets the same integrated tongue and BOA Li2 closure dials as the 333, giving a snug and supportive fit tuned for fast riding on the rough stuff. The supple upper is tough enough to resist the inevitable scrapes, rubbing and bashes of gravel riding while a rubber toe guard protects against rocks and stones kicked up from the trail.

When speeding along fast gravel tracks, the stiff Lake 80/30 Competition 100% Carbon Fibre Sole is tuned for efficient pedalling and instantaneous power transfer. The minimalist Mountain Race X rubber sole and aggressive tread pattern give excellent traction across various terrains, making them perfect when off the bike and navigating loose gravel.

The MX Competition Last offers a larger toe box and a tighter heel, allowing the foot to expand naturally during demanding activities like hike-a-bike sections or running up inclines, without causing discomfort.

Pedal Compatibility

These off-road shoes are compatible with MTB and trekking pedal systems utilising the 2-bolt cleat system such as Shimano SPD, Look Trekking and X-Track, crank brothers Candy etc..

Size note

Lake shoes run small. We recommend sizing up — most customers find they need one full size larger than their usual EU size. If you're between sizes, always go up. This applies to both the standard and wide fit versions.
